One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.His bed was next to the room's only window.The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats.Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene .
Days, weeks and months passed.One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the windo w, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.It faced a blank wall.
The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'
Epilogue:There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.'Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present.'

高血压
肥胖者患高血压病的几率比较高，他们最近进行的一次抽样调查表明，２５岁以上、 ４０岁以下人群，正常体重下患病率只有１１．３％，而肥胖者患病率达到４４．５％；４０岁至６０岁年龄段，正常体重患病率为２９．１％，而肥胖者则高达 ５４．１％；６０岁以上年龄段，正常体重的人，患病率为５４．２％，而肥胖者则高达７２．１％。
调查还发现，精神紧张者患高血压病的较多。从事精神紧张度高的职业者，例如驾驶员、证券经纪人、售票员、会计等人群，如果再缺乏体育锻炼，易患高血压病。
摄入食盐较多者是一个突出人群，这类人患高血压病的几率较高，这是因为高钠可使血压升高，低钠有助于降低血压，而高钙和高钾饮食可降低高血压病的发病率。临床观察发现，患者在严格限制摄盐后，血压有所下降。
高血压病具有明显的遗传特征，因此父母患有高血压病者也是高血压病的高发人群。同一个家庭中出现多个高血压病患者，不仅仅是因为他们有相同的生活方式，更重要的是有遗传基因存在。另外，长期饮酒吸烟者、摄入动物脂肪较多者，也都是高血压病高发人群。

净空法师说故事
人 生在世，生活快樂、無憂無慮、無牽無掛，這是最幸福、最快樂的事！
我受戒時，得戒和尚是道源老法師，他在戒壇上講了一個真實的故事。
道源老法師的家鄉在蘇 北泰州一帶，他做小和尚時，地方上有一個乞丐，後來兒子發了大財，但是父親仍在外頭討飯，親戚朋友對他都不原諒。他覺得沒面子，就派人去把父親找回來。找 回來之後，想好好的供養父親，哪裡曉得這個老人不習慣，過了幾天又偷偷跑去要飯。
有人問他：「為什麼？」他說：「那麼多人侍候，真是受罪！我不想吃的東 西，拼命拿來給我吃；我不願意穿的衣服，拿來給我穿。我天天要飯，每一天遊山玩水，我餓了就托一缽飯。晚上睡覺，隨地而睡，我過的是真正的生活，過的是快 樂、自在的生活。」
這個人了不起，他有他的福報，他有他的享受，天天遊山 玩水，身上一文錢都不需要帶，走到哪裡吃到哪裡，晚上隨便找一個破廟住下就行了。這個人懂得享受，懂得享福。實際上他是菩薩，乞丐裡面的菩薩，乞丐裡面的 覺悟者。他表現的是「於人無爭，於世無求」，過大自然的生活，跟大自然為伍。再回過頭來看看他兒子做生意，他簡直不恥，那不是人過的生活。離苦得樂，諸位 從這裡去想。
所 以，有錢有勢的人是有福報，但是不懂得享福。吃要講求吃，結果吃得一身是病。福報大的請護士日夜照顧，哪有健康人自在？那不是享福，真正享福是享受大自 然。我們住在冷氣房裡也不是享福，大自然才是享福。
所以，真實的福報是無憂無慮，無牽無掛。平常積功累德、斷惡修善，不論走到什麼地方，人家都歡迎你、都 接待你，這才是真正的福報。樣樣都為自己是沒有福報，縱然有錢，走到哪裡，人家都瞧不起你。還有很多人要來綁票、搶劫，身心都不自在，出門都怕遇到危險， 提心吊膽，那有什麼福報！

One of them, knowing how much the sultan loves his stallion, offered to teach the horse to fly within a year in return for his life.
The sultan, fancying the rider of the only flying horse in the world, agreed.
The other prisoner looked at his friend in disbelief.
“You know horses don’t fly, what made you come up with a crazy idea like that? You are only postponing the inevitable.”
“Not so,” said the first prisoner, “I am actually given myself four chances for freedom. First, the sultan might die during the year. Second I might die. Third the horse might die. And fourth…..I might teach the horse to fly!”

新学年
我也在为有人看kappong lang 而开心 虽然大家都是静静读不爱给意见的。。
这才是真的kappong lang 吧。
有空给给意见吧（就在comment那边写写），要不然我要shock sendiri 到几时？哈。。
我打算有空把已往黑白照搬上来此回味一下。。
